Assured Velocity is an independent transformation firm for mid-market organisations. We provide senior-led diagnostics, interim and fractional leadership, operating model design, programme delivery, and programme recovery. Every engagement is led by a named partner. We hold no vendor partnerships and take no referral fees.
Mid-market organisations - typically £10m to £100m turnover - that are private, PE-backed, or listed. The common pattern is a business running hard with real complexity but without a dedicated transformation function, where a senior, vendor-neutral partner is the right intervention.
Three structural differences. First, partners do the work - we do not staff engagements with juniors. Second, we are independent of every technology vendor and take no referral fees, so our recommendations carry no commercial bias. Third, we scope engagements to outcomes with defined deliverables, not open time and materials.
Pricing is bespoke and agreed on the first scoping call. Every engagement is fixed-fee, scoped to the work, with no day rate, no open time-and-materials, and no scope-creep escalation. Engagements range from short diagnostics through to multi-month implementation and recovery programmes, and from short fractional commitments through to embedded leadership across a transformation.
For diagnostic work and scoping calls, within one week. For interim or fractional leadership engagements, typically one to two weeks. For programme recovery and urgent stabilisation, we have mobilised within 48 hours when the situation required it.
Joe Kay (Partner, Business Transformation and Interim COO), Richard Danks (Partner, Technology, Governance and CTO Recovery), Brian Ford (Partner, Programme Delivery and Recovery), and Tom Henry (Partner, Process Transformation and Operations Excellence). Each has 25 or more years of senior delivery experience in mid-market and enterprise environments.
Headquartered in London, working across the UK and Europe. We have delivered engagements in financial services, insurance, manufacturing, logistics, professional services, retail, housing associations, energy, and software businesses. The methodology is consistent; the language and benchmarks we use are sector-specific.
A scoping call with a partner who will do the work. The conversation establishes whether there is a fit, what intervention is appropriate, and what the next step looks like. There is no obligation to proceed. Most engagements begin with either an Executive Discovery Scan or a fixed-scope diagnostic.
Documented outcomes include £50m capital release through DR remediation, £26m annual operating cost reduction in retail property, €600k capacity release in banking operations, 40% reduction in onboarding lead times, 70% reduction in salary review cycle time, and £21m annual Opex reduction in fractional CTO engagements. Outcomes are specific to scope and starting position.
No. Assured Velocity holds no implementation revenue, takes no referral fees, and carries no platform partnerships. This is structural, not aspirational. It means our recommendations on technology selection, vendor management, and programme governance carry no commercial bias.
