Partner Triage is the structured process we use to assess whether there is a genuine fit between your situation and our capability before committing to a formal engagement. It gives you an honest view of what we can and cannot do for you, and it gives us the information we need to design the right engagement.

How is Partner Triage different from an initial sales call?

Partner Triage is led by a senior practitioner who will do the work, not a business development function. The objective is an honest assessment of fit, not a commitment to engagement. We will tell you if we are not the right choice as readily as we will tell you where we can add value.

What information do you need from us during Partner Triage?

We need a clear description of the situation you are facing, the outcomes you are trying to achieve, the timeline and any constraints, and the key stakeholders involved. The more honest and specific you are, the more useful our triage assessment will be.

How long does Partner Triage take?

Typically one conversation of 45-60 minutes, followed by a short written summary of our assessment and proposed next step within 24 hours.

What outcomes are possible from Partner Triage?

Three outcomes are possible: we agree that there is a clear fit and propose a specific engagement; we identify a fit but recommend starting with a smaller first step (such as a Constraints Briefing) before committing to a larger engagement; or we conclude that we are not the right fit and point you toward alternatives.

Is there any cost for Partner Triage?

No. Partner Triage is complimentary. We invest the time because accurate triage improves the quality of engagements that proceed.

What happens if we are unsure what kind of support we need?

Partner Triage is well-suited to situations where the problem is unclear as well as situations where it is well-defined. We are experienced at helping clients articulate what is actually going on before recommending an appropriate approach.

Can Partner Triage be used by an accountancy firm or other advisor referring a client?

Yes. Partners and advisors regularly use our triage process to assess whether a client situation is appropriate for Assured Velocity before making a formal introduction. We can also participate in a three-way conversation with the referring advisor and the client.

What types of situation are outside your scope?

We do not do legal advisory, financial modelling, audit, tax, or traditional management consultancy strategy work. We are focused on operational and technology transformation and the leadership capability to deliver it. If your situation calls for something outside that scope, we will say so in triage.
