Turn your survey results into a board-level conversation about what to do next.
A survey can show symptoms, but leadership teams still need judgement. The Constraints Briefing converts automated insight into commercial discussion, sharper prioritisation, and a clear recommendation on the right next step for your business.
It is the bridge between a free self-assessment and a paid diagnostic or advisory engagement. There is no sales pressure and no obligation to proceed. The only goal is to make the findings genuinely useful.
Your results are walked through in context - what the score means for a business of your size, sector, and growth stage
How similar firms scored across the four dimensions and where your biggest gaps sit relative to the benchmark
Optional: 2-3 profit scenarios showing estimated £ impact of addressing the top constraints, to help prioritise where to focus
A direct view on the right next step - whether that is a paid diagnostic, a fractional leadership arrangement, or nothing further at this stage

A Constraints Briefing is a focused half-day working session in which a senior partner facilitates your leadership team through a structured examination of the constraints limiting your business performance or growth. It produces a shared, prioritised view of the issues - not a consultant's report, but your team's view, sharpened and structured.
A Constraints Briefing is more structured than a generic workshop. We use a proven facilitation framework that surfaces hidden constraints and creates a prioritised consensus view rather than a long list of problems. The output is actionable, not just a record of the conversation.
The leadership team - typically CEO, CFO, and the heads of the key operational functions. Three to eight participants is the ideal range. Too few means important perspectives are missing; too many makes the facilitation unwieldy.
The output is a structured constraints map - a prioritised view of the constraints identified, their likely root causes, and the highest-leverage improvement opportunities. This is documented during the session and summarised in a brief follow-up note.
A half day - typically three to four hours. We recommend a morning session followed by a working lunch for informal follow-on discussion.
Minimal. We send a short pre-read that frames the methodology and ask participants to come prepared to be honest about what is and is not working. No formal pre-work is required.
It sits between an initial engagement call and a full Business Review. For some organisations, the Constraints Briefing is sufficient to agree a course of action. For others, it provides the frame for a more detailed diagnostic.
Yes, though we find in-person sessions produce richer outputs. Remote sessions work well when the leadership team is geographically dispersed.
Yes. Everything discussed in a Constraints Briefing is treated as strictly confidential. We do not share content between clients or use session materials for any purpose other than supporting your engagement.
The Constraints Briefing is a fixed-fee engagement. Contact us to discuss the fee - it is priced to be accessible as a low-commitment first step rather than a significant investment.
